Znacenje dokumenta
Pozdrav!
Upravo sam pronasla ovaj dokument i nije mi jasno njegovo znacenje. Da li je osoba uzela madjarsko drzavljanstvo ili ovo ima neko drugo znacenje?
Unapred hvala!
P.S. slika je u prilogu

Re: Znacenje dokumenta
Yes, the person has hungarian citizenship. This is a photo of an official naturalisation document.

Hi
Great news!
Thank you! Does it mean I don't need his birth certificate (as am additional document to submit)? I mean, he is my grandfather.

You are welcome! Well, I am not really sure.I believe that if your grandpa was a hungarian citizenship when your father was born, then he, and, of course, you, are both hungarian citizens. You should ask more questions at your closest consulate of Hungary, via e-mail.HelenaAnna пише: ↑Суб Нов 04, 2023 4:52 pmThank you! Good luck!I hope that someone can give you a more certain answer!
P.S. Sorry for writing in english on this forum, but I am from RO, and thought that I could help people, as I already went thought the naturalisation process a few years ago.

Re: Znacenje dokumenta
Thank you so much.. It's ok to communicate in English
Re: Znacenje dokumenta
You are welcome!
Basically, I think that you qualify for citizenship through verification, meaning that an interview in the hungarian language would not be necessary.
I still do not know if your grandpa can pass this citizenship directly to you, as there's another generation between you two.

Unfortunately he was not. At the time my father was born, my grandfather had only Yugoslavian citizenship..
Re: Znacenje dokumenta
Well, you can still try through the simplified naturalisation procedure. Do not give up!
